The School and Community Sports Centre will be open weekdays until 10pm and weekends until 9pm.

- Recreation seating and meeting area with full vending facilities
The centre contains full disabled changing in discrete changing rooms and the centre will be fully staffed throughout the opening times.

The school has recently appointed a new Community Development Manager, Richard Lloyd. His role will be to develop both the sports centre and the schools community facilities.
Currently the Sports Centre has a number of users from the local surrounding communities including East Durham Archery Club, Peterlee Panthers Roller Hockey Club, East Durham Gymnastics Club, Blackhall Cricket Club and regular 5-a-side users.
